Tale's of a Knighthood: The story of Mist, the obnoxious

Once upon a time, when the Knighthood was but a fledgling order, it accepted nigh everyone that showed upon its doors. Many found it to be a strange place and left, and many other found its strange nature a comfort, embracing it.

One fateful night, an individual brought their own breed of strangeness into the halls of the Knighthood, carrying with them a cloak of disorder and envy, for those who had already walked the halls and claimed their place in the order.

Her name, was Mist.

She was cunning, and deceptive, her entry into the Knighthood under the pretense of a wounded soldier, her goal to be a deceiving agent of chaos. During her time in training, she attempted to coerce the Mighty Lord's Blade for her position, citing many treasures in return, seducing the amiable and humble Sablonus, in an attempt to gain the blackmail to do so, driving the future Grand Librarian Lord Fang to embark on a long pilgrimage, from which he would return the scholar able to lead the scribes.

The esteemed council of the Inner circle convened, determining how to deal with this menace, her efforts loud enough finally that she could no longer be ignored.

The Grandmaster, still new to his role as the leader of an order of Knights, suggested amnesty, seeking the redemption of every wayward soul, not yet wizened to the fact that some simply seek to see the world burn.

His Inner council of champions harrowed this suggestion, in turn looking to banish Mist from the halls forever, and making a vow than none like her shall ever return to it.

And thus the Knighthoods code of conduct was written, to determine the true worth of an individual who has pledged themselves to this order.
